Job Description
- Manage & monitor the execution of projects to successful completion within given timeline.
- Track quality and productivity yields of each production line by maintaining in-process data collection and analysis.
- Follow current system to ensure that all proper documentation and data is available for all assembly jobs.
- Maintain MPI, thermal profiles, process development, screen printing programs, stencil design, tooling, fixture, and any other programs that are related to quality assurance of all assemblies.
- Set up and maintain thermal profiles system for all types and sizes of PCBs and all other programs related to PCB assembly.
- Define, develop, and provide support for SMT, Wave, 2nd Op, Box Build, and Rework processes.
- Develop MPI (Manufacturing Process Instruction) & Rework Instructions.
- Support major SMT in the operating, programming, process validation, including machines such as stencil printer, SPI, pick/place, and reflow, AOI.
- Design and order production tooling such as stencils/fixtures.
- Recommend and perform continuous improvement in all production areas.
- Disposition workmanship defects per IPC-A-610-E and participate in the root cause analysis for any defective products.
- Provide training/guidance to technicians and operators.
- Complete annual performance evaluations for direct reports in a timely manner and promptly address performance counseling as needed.
- Create a positive work environment for team work and build high moral for everyone.
- Be available for after-hours emergency calls and flexible to work hours needed by the Company.

Job Requirements
- BS in Engineering or related field preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in electronics hardware industry related to design and/or PCB fabrication and /or Electronic assembly/contract manufacturing.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical and familiar with GDT.
- Familiar with schematics, PCB fabrication drawings and electronic components that are mounted on electronic assemblies.
- Certificate in PCB design and or electronics assembly a plus.
- Ability to evaluate and/or check layout designs, bills of materials, etc. of electronic PCB assemblies. Able to evaluate gerbers.
- Knowledge of testing and/or circuit schematics design is a plus.
- Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Gerber software a plus.
- Must have good understanding of SMT processes and be able to identify/solve daily production issues.
- Must be able to understand basic elements, including reading of BOM, AVL, ECO/ECNs, assembly, fab, and mechanical drawings.
- Good understanding of Valor Trilogy, V-Plan and Quality standards such as ISO and IPC610.
- Dependable and flexible to work extended hours based on company needs.
- Must have good understanding of SMT processes and be able to identify/solve production daily issues.
- Must have a professional demeanor and excellent customer service/follow-up skills with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent written and verbal sales communication skills.
- Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
