Job Description
The Procurement Planner’s primary functions are to support and help achieve the goals of the Production & Procurement department and lead efforts to improve and streamline current Procurement practices.
Job Responsibilities
· Ensure material availability including resolution of shortage issues
· Demand planning, order generating and delivery tracking
· Stock monitoring and management
· Planning of transports and time windows
· Tracking of deadlines in terms of change management
· Communication with customer and supplier
· Tracking and documenting of supplier delivery performance
· Management of critical situations in terms of procurement of parts
· Monitor supplier performance
· Support of the container management process
· Initiating and support of cycle counts if stock discrepancies appear
· Ability to understand complex requirement schedules
· Ability to escalate to senior personnel at suppliers
Job Requirements
· Negotiation in price and technical requests
· Mentoring / Coaching
· 3-5 years experiences in Procurement Planning
· College degree or equivalent
· Experience in the field of material planning / administration and logistics
· Experience in the automotive industry resp. in supplier branching
· Good knowledge in Microsoft-Office-Application (especially MS Excel)
· Good understanding / experience in ERP- and MRP-Systems
· FMEA
· Transport Norms
· Good Communication and written skills
