Job Description
· Conduct periodic inspections on assigned equipment's according to Preventive Maintenance Schedule (ISO Form 11-01-01-B).
· Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment's and machineries to prevent breakdowns, costly repairs, and the development of unsafe conditions.
· Promptly respond to and complete job requisitions according to request forms and submit to Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
· Use proper tools and techniques to perform the required tasks in a professional and safe manner.
· Research, order, and prepare spare parts needed with the most cost effective solution.
· Report any potential problems to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
· Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.
· Be available for emergency maintenance.
· May be required to operate a forklift.
· Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
· High school diploma, AA degree in related field preferred.
· 2-5 years experience in the following trades: general building maintenance, electricity, carpentry and plumbing.
· Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
· Previous hands on experience with electrical/mechanical tools and test instruments.
· Good written/verbal communication skills and ability to generate reports of diagnoses of machines and completed task.
· Must have a professional demeanor and good customer service skills with a sense of urgency.
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds maximum and stand/walk throughout the day.
· Ability to operate a forklift if needed.
· Must be highly motivated and able to multi-task.
· Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
· Valid driver’s license required.
