Job Description
Senior-level analog/digital yield engineer. Responsible for the in-circuit test/debug of new switch/ PC hardware.
Job Responsibilities
- Increase production yields of early production releases and pilot productions in a timely manner by debugging PCBs including digital and analog components and functional blocks, identify root cause and component related failures and provide guidelines of in-house PCB repairs.
- Develop methodology to systematically test board functionality and identify component failures.
- Write test reports and communicate with switch/ PC manufacturer. Provide failure statistics and recommend corrective actions and process improvements in the manufacturing process.
- Provide solutions and training of high-level diagnostic issues to the diagnostic technicians.
- Update and generate documentation as required.
- Responsible for all aspects of the test including selection and maintenance of test equipment and test procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ year’s experience in the field of in-circuit testing and yield improvement of switch and/ or server hardware.
