Job Responsibilities

The Human Resource Director (HRD) is a strategic partner to the Facility CEO and other leadership team members, responsible for defining, developing, and implementing human resources initiatives for the 137-bed hospital with over 500 team members. The HRD is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for all areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, talent acquisition and assessment, compensation management, performance management, training and leadership development, policy and procedures; and managing a team of HR professionals. The HRD reports directly to the hospital CEO, while receiving direction from the Division HRD.

Job Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field
• 1-3 years previous experience in human resources in a hospital or medical management setting is required
• 1-2 years previous supervisor experience is required
• PHR or SHRM certification preferred
• Master’s degree is preferred
