Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine and emergency maintenance to all equipment as directed by the Maintenance Manager
Job Responsibilities
Conduct periodic inspections on assigned equipment according to Preventive Maintenance Schedule (ISO Form 11-01-01-B).
Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment and machineries to prevent breakdowns, costly repairs, and the development of unsafe conditions.
Promptly respond to and complete job requisitions according to request forms and submit to Maintenance.
Use proper tools and techniques to perform the required tasks in a professional and safe manner.
Research, order, and prepare spare parts needed with the most cost effective solution
Report any potential problems to the Maintenance Manager.
Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.
Be available for emergency maintenance.
May be required to operate a forklift.
Cleans shop and parts area at the end of every shift
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements

High school diploma, or equivalent required
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
Strong Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems, as well as industrial equipment and machinery
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PLC’s
Strong Electrical ability to work with voltage varying from ( 5V DC to 480V AC )
Ability to inspect equipment for defects
Fabricates and installs piping and tubing systems for a variety of operations
Ability to install and maintain various pipe systems
Ability to weld MIG, TIG
Recognize waste and recommends initiatives for elimination or reduction
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Experience with Preventive maintenance programs ( CMMS )
Ability to provide technical support and training to other team members as needed
High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality
Understanding of safety and environmental regulation
Ability to lift and work in physically demanding conditions
Ability to operate a forklift if needed
Follow and adhere to Lock-out / Tag-out procedures at all times
Cleans shop and parts area at the end of every shift
