Job Description

Posiflex seeks a motivated events planning and logistics professional who will serve as an integral member of the Posiflex team, organizing the logistics for various channel and end-user tradeshows that Posiflex exhibits or attends, assisting in the development of marketing campaigns, promotional programs, press relations, social media, and presentations.

Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Prepare equipment for upcoming shows where Posiflex is exhibiting, including working with the product development team to ensure equipment is optimally prepared for the intended show
  • Organize tradeshow logistics, including handling sponsorship, trade show collateral management, lead retrieval, packing, etc.
  • Work closely with event organizers, shipping carriers and Posiflex sales field, as well as abiding by strict tradeshow schedules
  • Manage the scheduling of all events, ensuring all involved parties are informed accordingly 
  • Work with sister companies for partnered tradeshows
  • Prepare and ship marketing collateral to sales managers and partners
  • Work closely with Posiflex warehouse team, frequently pulling inventory and preparing equipment and supplies for shipment
  • Manage tradeshow budget, ensuring show sponsorships and marketing opportunities are optimally budgeted for best ROI
  • Supervise I&D (Install & Dismantle) labor and overall show booth issues at major shows
  • Gather and manage leads, categorize leads, distribute to the sales team
  • Manage loaned equipment to partners and prospects
  • Assist in overall marketing for Posiflex, including research and generating reports of various marketing activities
  • Manage social media for the company (FaceBook, LinkedIn, Twitter)

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 3 to 4 years experience in an events planning or logistics-related role
  • Experience working with shipping companies
  • Experience working with event host organizers and event logistics companies, such as Freeman and GES
  • The highly organized individual able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with changing priorities, assume ownership and drive projects and tasks to completion

·         Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives

·         Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • 15% of travel will be required
