Job Responsibilities
1. Test Program Development:
- Develop and optimize test programs for electronic circuit boards using flying probe test equipment.
- Collaborate with design engineers to understand product specifications and requirements for testing.
2. Programming and Scripting:
- Utilize programming languages and scripting tools to create and modify test programs for the flying probe equipment.
- Write and maintain scripts to automate testing processes and enhance efficiency.
3. Equipment Setup and Calibration:
- Set up and calibrate flying probe test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
4.Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to understand testing requirements and address any issues in the testing process.
- Provide technical support to production teams to ensure the successful execution of test programs.
5. Documentation:
- Create comprehensive documentation for test programs, including specifications, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and equipment calibration.
6.Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in the testing and programming workflow.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in flying probe technology to enhance testing capabilities.
7. Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic circuit boards.
- Participate in root cause analysis for any defects or issues identified during testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in programming and scripting languages relevant to flying probe test equipment (e.g., TSL, VBScript, C++).
- Familiarity with electronic circuit design and debugging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
