Job Description
This position supports HR manager and HR department in providing a comprehensive HR service. This position is providing administrative support on day-to-day operations of human resources and contributing to the long-run development of HR function in specific during an initial phase of recruitment growth and development.
Job Responsibilities
- Well representing the department and being a first point of contact for employees.
- Managing sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files.
- Perform the full cycle of Employment processes include recruiting, hiring, termination.
- Perform Safety tasks following Safety Protocol and perform Safety trainings.
- Preparing source documentation for training and development.
- Liaising with absence recording, COBRA administrator, LOA, employee benefits eligibility
- Maintaining worker comp issues.
- Providing HR advice and support to line managers and employees, explaining procedures and policies in a timely effective manner.
- Responsible for organizing and filing documents and light data entry.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in HR related field; preferably in a small-sized company.
- Minimum of 1 year of hand-on in hiring processes and safety.
- Fair knowledge of techniques of interviewing, selecting and recruiting applicants for employment.
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to take direction.
- Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-up.
- Dependable and resourceful.
- Well organized and able to meet deadlines.
