Job Responsibilities
- Inventory Transactions Execution: Process all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, fulfillments, and disposals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions and ensure that the inventory management system (NetSuite) is updated in real-time.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Perform regular inventory cycle counts and reconciliations, identify and resolve discrepancies and take corrective actions to resolve any issues.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze inventory reports to provide insights into inventory levels, turnover rates, and potential stock shortages or overages.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations and Research & Development teams to forecast inventory needs, plan stock movements, and resolve any inventory-related issues. Facilitate a weekly MRB meeting for inventory dispositions.
- Compliance and Procedures: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to inventory management. Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Inventory Optimization: Assist in optimizing inventory levels to meet business goals, reducing excess stock while avoiding stockouts.
Job Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related role.
· Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field PREFERRED
· Proven experience in inventory management, logistics or similar role.
· Strong understanding of inventory management best practices and procedures.
· Proficient in the use of NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
· Effective communication and teamwork abilities
· Ability to lift 20 - 50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently and is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, stoop, kneel or crawl.
