Job Responsibilities

·         PCB Rework and Repair: Perform detailed rework and repair tasks on PCB assembly, including but not limited to, component removal and replacement, reflow processes, and trace/pad repair.

·         Soldering: Execute precise and high-quality soldering activities on various PCB assemblies, ensuring compliance with IPC standards.

·         Inspection and Testing: Conduct visual inspection and testing of PCB assembly to detect and rectify defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

·         Documentation: Maintain accurate records of rework and repair activities, including documenting any changes, repairs, and test results.

·         Compliance and Standards: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with IPC standards and any other relevant industry standards and company protocols.

·         Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and other tools used in the facility, ensuring they are in proper working condition.

·         Collaboration: Work closely with the quality assurance and engineering teams to diagnose issues, provide feedback for process improvements, and ensure all work meets specified guidelines.

·         Other responsibilities assigned by the Manager

 

Job Requirements

·         Certification: Possession of IPC 7711/7721 Rework and Repair Certification is mandatory.

·         Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB assembly, rework, and repair.

·         Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in soldering techniques, including both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT).

·         Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit boards, and related schematics.

·         Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of precision in all work.

·         Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues with PCB assemblies.

·         Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Manual Dexterity: Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination required for delicate soldering tasks.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
