Job Description

This position will be locates in Vietnam.
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is the driving force in the account development, sales and relationship management of all clients and prospects (area to be defined) in the garden furniture industry. Manage and develop customers with use of Key Account Management, and maintain, nurse and secure high customer satisfaction and achieve objectives and budget communicated by the related Sales Director. 
Develop, implement, supervise and drive objectives and targets at sales management level and in accordance with country and regional strategy, to gain optimal profitable sales and market share. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and prioritize customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed forecast / budget and business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity, and Time line for each customer and prospect. It’s expected the person to work with the commercial procedures and contribute to the strong implementation both internally and externally.
  • Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed sales strategy and approved sales target and activity plan per fiscal year.
  • Manage assigned back-office / administrative colleagues in our production facilities in Vietnam and Indonesia secure high quality of communication and punctuality.
  • Manage product/service mix collaboration with Product management for effective use of development resources, pricing and margins according to agreed aims. The job also involves close cooperation with our internal planning and administration of e.g. tasks sales forecasting and monthly reports to be submitted to the related Sales Director.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
  • The person is responsible for the growth and profitability of his territory, as well as for the commercial and technical skill development at the distributors and agents.
  • Create and manage customer service solution, policies, concepts and corrective operations together with the related Sales Director and sales team.
  • Prepare and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development. 
  • Maintenance and boosting of the profit margin by means of appropriate selling prices and the research and introduction of new products.
  • Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems. 
  • Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing. 
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods. 
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  • Record, analyze, report and administer according to systems and requirements. 
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development. 
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment

Job Requirements

Required Experience:
  • Sales and marketing in B-t-B
  • Handling of customer relationship management
  • Handling of sales activities by limited economic resources and punctual care
  • Strong customer communication and relationship skills, strong public speaking and presentation skills, and problem solving skills are essential.
Preferred Experience:
  • Commercial understanding – must be able to “show the way” through a personal charisma and punctual communication
  • Knowledge of housing trends and movements in- and outdoor
  • Know how from the garden product area 
  • Experience within a multi-product sales team and network
  • Experience within vertical integration of tasks and assignments
  • Successful track record with sales results.
  • Proven ability to effectively operate and communicate in a matrix environment and work effectively with business management, customers, and across business and organizational boundaries.
  • Proven track record to work independently, while achieving aggressive personal and geographic objectives. Highly motivated, “can do” attitude with strongly influential management skills.
  • Proven track record of good judgment. Demonstrated integrity and respect of co-workers.
