Job Description

Ability to do research, evaluation and analysis of new techniques, methods, and procedures.
       Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
       Must be well organized and able to provide accurate and on-time results.
       Must have a can-do attitude as well as the ability to take direction.
       Excellent attention to detail and follow-up.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all safety related matters including inquiries from employees and government agencies.  
  •     Drive compliance with the requirements of the company Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
  •     Ensure safety compliance with all federal and state safety regulations.     Lead and train ERT committee.
  •     Conduct quarterly/semi-annual meeting with safety committee.
  •     Provide training to new/existing employees on evacuation procedure and emergency response plan.
  •     Plan and coordinate for the company’s evacuation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent).
  •        1-2 years of hands on experience in safety for a small-size manufacturing company.
  •        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •        Employee relations knowhow and practical experience.
  •        Must be computer savvy and proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PPT) and ERP.
