Job Responsibilities

  • Position allows for remote and face-to-face sales activities, offering geographical flexibility within Long Island, NY
  • Engage in sales to both new and existing customers, utilizing cross-selling, upselling, and repeat sales strategies
  • Identify and assess potential sales opportunities, crafting medium to long-term sales plans to enhance relationships and
  • boost energy solution sales
  • Drive towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets through proactive sales efforts and effective relationship management
  •  Develop sales proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and manage customer details in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to ensure efficient sales operations
  • Expand and maintain the customer network through regular sales calls, while assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions

Job Requirements

Must have:

    • Business development, prospecting, and pipeline growth experience
    • Understanding of power generation and temperature control equipment and their applications
    • Understanding the market opportunities and knowledge of the territory
    • Demonstrated success in maintaining a minimum annual sales budget of $2 million, highlighting strong sales capabilities
    • Possess a general understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, energy storage, and load banks, contributing to informed sales discussions

Nice to have:

    • Experience with Salesforce
    • Technical background or trade school in Power generation and HVAC/Temperature control equipment
    • An existing book of business or contacts within a network of clients in the building and construction sector
    • Technical solutions selling experience
